Nashua Communications announced today it has achieved Gold Certification from Cisco®. To earn the Gold Certification, Nashua Communications had to meet rigorous standards for networking competency, service, support and customer satisfaction set forth by Cisco.
As one of a handful of companies in South Africa to achieve this competency level, it spells great opportunities for the company in the future. Managing director of Nashua Communications, Andy Openshaw, says our commitment to Cisco is evident in the fact that we completed the transition from Premier to Gold Partner in just over four months. "Since acquiring KSS Technologies, a valued Cisco partner and very successful and highly skilled player in the networking and converged technologies space, we have become a key provider of converged enterprise communication and network solutions."
As a Cisco Gold Partner, Nashua Communications has met the requirements for attaining the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies and advanced Cisco specializations. "With specializations in Unified Communications, Routing and Switching, Security, and Wireless LAN, Nashua Communications has made an investment in developing its capability to deliver integrated and customized technology solutions that today's customers demand" adds Openshaw.

In addition, Nashua Communications has integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into their offerings and is required to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Cisco Gold Certification provides Nashua Communications access to comprehensive sales, technical, and lifecycle services training and support available from Cisco. Nashua Communications' Cisco Programme Manager, Chris Kok, says it was a great achievement and it wasn't an easy road. "It's hard to believe that we achieved Cisco Silver certification in July and Gold certification in November. You have to have a committed team and if you really want something bad enough, anything is possible. Now that Nashua Communications is Cisco Gold Certified, the sky is the limit."
