Reunert has announced management changes at its energy cables entity, CBI-electric: african cables.
Alan Dickson (38), the marketing and sales executive of CBI-electric: african cables has been appointed managing director with immediate effect. The current managing director, Ernst Schutte (59), has requested to take up early retirement. Ernst has agreed to stay on until the end of June 2009 to ensure a smooth hand-over.
Following strong growth in power installations, Mike Engelbrecht (36) has been appointed general manager of Power Installation, a division of CBI-electric: african cables.
Reunert chief executive Gerrit Pretorius said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ernst for his years of service to Reunert, during which time CBI-electric: african cables experienced a period of good growth. I wish him all the best and good health during his retirement."
